These terms ("Terms") govern your use of the Woodcutter web application and mobile application (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Woodcutter DP. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service, including client records, quotes, site visit notes, measurements, and photos ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
When you enter your own customers' personal data into the Service to build quotes or capture site visits, you are the data controller for that information under UK GDPR, and we are the data processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process your customers' personal data and for providing them with appropriate privacy information. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
The Service is currently provided free of charge to the account holder. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in future. Where pricing changes apply, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email before any charges begin.
Quotes generated by the Service are between you and your customer. We are not party to any quote, contract, or job you arrange with your customers, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of any quote you produce, the work you carry out, or any dispute that arises between you and your customer. You are responsible for ensuring quotes you send are accurate and comply with applicable law (consumer rights, VAT, trading standards, etc.).
We aim to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. From time to time we may take the Service offline for maintenance, upgrades, or to fix urgent issues. We will give reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.

The Service, including its design, code, and trade marks, is owned by Woodcutter DP or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property in the Service to you. The Woodcutter DP name and logo are trade marks of Woodcutter DP.
You may close your account at any time by emailing info@woodcutterdp.co.uk. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and conditions, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or relating to the Service, in any 12-month period, is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in that period or (b) one hundred pounds (£100). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss, including loss of profits, business, goodwill, or anticipated savings.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that consumers may bring claims in the courts of their country of residence as permitted by mandatory consumer law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app banner.
