The story behind the badge

Woodcutter DP. Carpentry and joinery, established 2016.

Ten years of bespoke joinery

Woodcutter DP has been making bespoke joinery and carpentry by hand across Surrey since 2016. What started with small commissions has grown into a full workshop practice, but the way the work gets done has not changed.

Every job begins with listening. The best pieces come from understanding how a space is used and what it needs, not from a catalogue. Then it is measured properly, built carefully and fitted with respect for your home.

No two commissions are the same, and that is exactly the point.

How we work

Three things we will not compromise on

Materials

Timber chosen for the job, not for the margin. The right board, the right grain, the right finish for how the piece will live.

Craft

Joints that are cut, not just screwed. Edges that are eased by hand. The details you only notice when they are missing.

Finish

A piece is not done when it is built. It is done when it is fitted, cleaned up and looks like it has always belonged there.

Let's make something together

Commissions are now open. Tell us about your space and what you would like to do with it.
